Admission

All members of the Laboratory automatically become members of the Library but will have to confirm their details prior to borrowing from the Library. Members should bring their University Card with them when registering to ensure that details recorded on the University Library database are accurate.

The Laboratory also allows current graduate student and research and teaching staff members of Oxford University to use the Library for reference and borrowing. Please bring your University Card as identification when you first register.

Oxford University undergraduates can use the Library for reference but borrowing is not permitted.

For security reasons, non-members of the Laboratory are not allowed to visit the Library in the absence of Library staff.

Hours

The Library is normally staffed Mon. to Fri. 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 4.30pm. However the Library is unstaffed but open to Laboratory members twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.
