Jim Davies shares platform with President Uribe of Colombia

Professor Jim Davies, Programme Co-Chair of the Third International Conference on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, shared the platform at the opening session with President Álvaro Uribe Vélez, the Colombian Head of State. President Uribe gave an inspiring opening address on the importance of ICT to Colombia in terms of democratic security, investor confidence, education and training, healthcare, and administrative transparency.
