OXFORD UNIVERSITY COMPUTING LABORATORY

Computational Biology Group - High Performance Computing

Many of the research projects of the Computational Biology Group are computationally intensive. These problems require the facilities of the Oxford Supercomputing Centre. A more recent area of interest is in the writing of object-oriented code for biological and physiological applications that ensure code is both reliable and extensible

The group also has links with the Oxford e-Science Centre, particularly through the Integrative Biology project.
