interests

My interests are primarily in security and web services. During my DPhil I intend to find news ways of applying Trusted Computing and virtualization technologies in order to give users a stronger guarantee about what a web service will do. I am also interested in making sure that the data sent to such a service remains private and is used in a manner acceptable to the originator. This has a certain overlap with specification, as only an unambiguous formal interface declaration can be properly reasoned about and understood.

biography

I am currently studying for a DPhil with Dr Andrew Martin, on the subject of Trustworthy Web Services. I arrived in Oxford at the beginning of October, 2007. Before this, I completed my MEng in Computing at Imperial College London, finishing in July.
