biography

Michal Plotkowiak received his graduate degree (mgr) in Civil Engineering in 2005 after studying at Poznan University of Technology (Poland) and Hanover University (Germany). While in Hanover, Michal worked part time as Student Assistant at the Institute of Mechanics and Computational Mechanics. Then he moved to the Bristol University and worked for 6 months as Research Assistant at the Mechanical Engineering Department focusing on non-destructive material testing. In 2006 Michal moved to the University of Oxford and started his 4 year DPhil program at the Life Science Interface Doctoral Training Centre.
